Yoga

Why Yoga?

Yoga has many benefits,  my focus for you however is to provide you with a safe space where you can reconnect with you mind and body, learn to slow down, de-stress and improve your health and well-being.
Many women are nervous about joining a yoga class or a gym because they feel that even the  most basic beginner class might be overwhelming and they won't be able to keep up. Instagram photos of yogis bending to contortionist extremes don't help and instead give the impression of yoga being something exclusive.
If this is how you feel then classes with me might just be the thing you need.

What you can expect from my classes

  • A safe environment
  • Classes tailored to your individual needs
  • A gentle, attuned and non-dogmatic teaching style
  • Fun
  • Positive energy & authenticity

What you won't be seeing in my classes

  • Chanting
  • Pseudo-science
  • New Age concepts
  • Spiritual talk

What classes are available?

My focus is on providing individual classes for women who are not yet comfortable with joining a class, be it because of a negative body image, lack of confidence or lack of fitness.
Why this demographic?
I have been practicing yoga since I was 11 years old, but as I got older I started prioritizing other things. After having some health setbacks and back pain that allowed me to walk only for 10 minutes at a time, my weight went up and fitness down. No matter how much I looked around, I did not feel  comfortable with the majority of yoga classes. From this experience and my work as a psychotherapist in the past and coach, I know how insecurity can stop us from reaching out.
Seeing women grow and regain their confidence and sense of self is what I love the most about my work.
